We are excited to celebrate our wedding with all of you!
This website contains all of the details that you should need about the wedding, but if you have any other questions, please get in touch!
Please fill in the RSVP by the 1st February 2025.
We met during our first year of university at one of the weekly group Wetherspoons trips.
One week after graduation, we had our first date in Milton Keynes, two weeks later than planned because Patrick was ill on the original day.
After seeing each other every weekend for nearly 3 years, the pandemic struck and Narissa turned up at Patrick's door with a small suitcase and the intention to stay over for a short while. She never moved out and instead all of her stuff moved in.
After surviving the lockdown and the final stretch of Narissa's PhD, we decided that we should finally get out of Patrick's flat and officially move into our own place.
Having had enough of London, we decided to move to Munich in Germany and experience life in a different country together.
On a spontaneous trip to Kufstein, Patrick proposed to Narissa whilst exploring the city and enjoying the mountain views.
We will be married close to our place of engagement, surrounded by family and friends.

The venue is easily reachable from Munich. We have compiled some possible routes to get to it but feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
The venue is about 1:30 hour drive from the Munich airport. We recommend taking the A9, A99 and A8 to Rosenheim and then the B15 towards Amerang. There is parking in front of the venue that you can use for all of the events, as well as some in the nearby village (5 min walk away).
The venue is a 1-1:30 hour drive from the airport, and since many of you will be flying from the UK, we can help to arrange group taxis (up to 12 people per taxi) from the airport to the hotels in the nearby villages to the venue. Please let us know if you would be interested in this in the RSVP and at what time your flight is arriving into Munich. If there is a group of you travelling on the same flight, this will be easier to arrange for you.
From Munich Hauptbahnhof (Munich central station), get the BRB RE5 (towards Salzburg) to Bad Endorf. At Bad Endorf, either take the Bus 434 towards Wasserburg and get off at Amerang: Bahnhof or take a 10 minute taxi.
If you would like to either travel to the venue by public transport or want to explore Germany before or after the wedding by public transport, we recommend that you buy the "Deutschland Ticket". It is a 49 Euro ticket that covers all local and regional public transport (bus, local train, underground, trams, etc.) within Germany for one calendar month. The only trains that the ticket cannot be used on are the high-speed trains (ICE, IC and EC trains).
You can buy this ticket on the DB Navigator app before you travel. We recommend buying it a week before you travel to ensure that it has been set up by the time of the wedding.
For more information, see: Deutschland Ticket
We have compiled a list of some of the hotels near to the venue, but feel free to take a look at others in the area.
If you would like to spend some time in the area before or after the wedding, we have put together a few suggestions of places to go that are easily accessible by train or car.
If you wish to travel by train, we highly recommend the Deutschland ticket as the regional trains to all of the places mentioned here are included in the ticket (see Travel section).
As residents of Munich, we obviously love the city and if you would also like to spend some time exploring where we have been living, there are many palaces, parks and beer gardens to explore. On a hot summer day, the lakes and river make for a great swim and picnic.
If you would like a relaxing holiday by a lake with plenty of options for swimming, cycling, sailing and other watersports, Chiemsee is a very large lake only 30 mins drive from the venue. There are several towns surrounding the lake that you can stay in, the nearest being Prien am Chiemsee. There is also a palace and a monastery on the islands within the lake that you can visit.
Salzburg is a beautiful city within the Alps that is around an hour from the train station. It is well known for Mozart and the Sound of Music, and is a lovely place to explore for a few days. There are also plenty of places to hike around the city since it is nestled within the Alps and has some amazing views.
Kufstein is a small town in the Alps that is around an hour from the train station. The town has a fortress at its centre and is surrounded by mountains that you can go hiking in. Every day at midday, the outdoor organ in the fortress is played and can be heard echoing across the surrounding mountains. The town holds a special place in our hearts as the place that we got engaged.
Many of you will travel long distances to share our wedding day with us, so please do not feel obliged to get us anything else! Should you wish to, we will be adding details for a gift registry soon.
Please fill in the RSVP by the 1st February 2025.
